The Woodland boys tennis team dropped the top two singles lines but still managed to earn a non-region win Feb. 23 at home.
Hosting Rockmart, the Wildcats produced a 3-2 victory in boys action, while the Yellow Jackets eased to a 5-0 triumph on the girls side.
Woodland relied heavily on its boys doubles teams. Cameron Henson and Jack Gore picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win on Line 1, while Jathan Camp and Javen Bowens claimed a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Cadyn Wade helped clinch the team win, taking both of his Line 3 sets by a 6-2 final score.
