ROBERT FORBES

Coach Forbes graduated from Johnson High School in 1988. After graduation, he attended Gainesville College and received a AS in Science then transferred to The University of Georgia and received a Bachelors of Science in 1994. Coach Forbes continued at UGA and received a Masters of Science in Secondary Education. He also attended Lincoln Memorial University and received a Specialist in Leadership in 2009.

Coach Forbes has been a teacher at Woodland since 1998. He started as an assistant track coach in 1999 in charge of the distance runners. He was also the Boys Head track coach from 2005-2010. Since then he has returned to the assistant position.

Coach Forbes started coaching Boys Cross Country in 2000. In 2011, he coached both the Boys and Girls team.

Coach Forbes teaches Physics and Astronomy and lives in  Cartersville with his wife Brandy and his two boys Tripp and Clayton
