Coach Nicole Heiser is entering her first year of teaching and coaching at Woodland. She spent the last two years at Rome High School. At Rome, she was the middle school girls’ cross-country coach, the head JV girls’ soccer coach, and the assistant varsity girls’ soccer coach. She is a 2011 graduate of Strongsville High School, in Strongsville, Ohio. She helped the Mustangs soccer team finish fifth in the nation as well as reach the state final four in Ohio as a senior. She earned All District and All Conference honors and was also selected as a Greater Cleveland All Star.
She received an athletic scholarship to play soccer at Georgia Southern University, where she redshirted her only year there. She then transferred to Jacksonville State University on another athletic scholarship, where she played soccer for the next 4 years. She graduated from Jacksonville State in 2016. She teaches English Language Arts at Woodland.
